climate contribution?

YES!

ENOcycle | with recyclate

ENOcycle was developed in response to customer demand for products with recycled material. Up to 50% recycled plastic, including at least 30% from post-consumer waste, is included in our ENOcycle.

The way to the circular economy now with our ENOcycle also for stretch film!

BEFORE | AFTER

Every day, we optimize packaging processes and thus make a decisive contribution to conserving resources. This is sustainability, because we save raw material resources, reduce waste and CO2 emissions.

ClimatePartner

Based on the order-specific data, we calculate the carbon footprint of your product

Offset CO2 emissions through a climate protection project. By supporting one of these projects, you offset the CO2 emissions generated by your product.

Greenhouse gases such as CO2 are distributed evenly in the atmosphere, so the greenhouse gas concentration is about the same everywhere on Earth.

Therefore, it is irrelevant for the global greenhouse gas concentration and the greenhouse effect at which place on earth emissions are caused or avoided.

For transparent communication, it is crucial that climate neutrality can be clearly understood. Therefore, we provide you with a label with order-related ID for the respective product.

The end result is climate-neutral products and services that stand for holistic climate protection. Clearly labeled and traceable.

The production of film packaging generates unavoidable CO2 emissions. The good news is that we can offset these emissions and label the packaging “climate neutral”. We offset all CO2 emissions that are unavoidable in the process chain by supporting a climate protection project.

For each climate-neutral order, you receive the ClimatePartner label with ID number to mark the packaging; this process is TÜV-certified and guarantees transparent traceability.

Climate neutral products

Climate-neutral companies, processes and products are those whose CO2 emissions have been calculated and offset by supporting internationally recognized climate protection projects. In addition to avoidance and reduction, offsetting CO2 emissions is another important step in holistic climate protection.

CO₂-Reduction

Every day, we optimize packaging processes and thus make a decisive contribution to conserving resources. We are aware of our responsibility and support our customers in using sustainable packaging solutions.

100% Recycled

The raw materials we use can be 100% recycled (stretch film and outer packaging made of polyethylene, as well as cardboard boxes and cardboard sleeves). Any offcuts or production waste are treated 100% as raw materials, sorted and returned to the recycling chain via appropriate recyclers.

Environmental management

m+b manufactures polyethylene stretch films for load securing. For the production of stretch film we use only polyethylene, as well as additives and stabilizers if necessary. Our products are marked (batch tracing) in such a way that the traceability of the raw materials used is guaranteed.

We are certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management). We continuously review our own consumption of energy and resources with regard to environmental compatibility and new optimization opportunities.

Environmental topics are also an essential part of our employees’ continuing education. We regularly monitor all activities that lead to the improvement of our environmental balance.

Almost every roof at our production site (Izmir – Turkey) is equipped with photovoltaic systems (approx. 700,000 KWH per year). This measure not only made economic sense, but was also an important step towards significantly reducing our carbon footprint. Further evidence of our efforts to actively contribute to environmental protection and to embed sustainable practices in our operations.
